Our shop services use Eclipse laser cleaning or the Pro-Series Soda Blast System. We’ll confirm the appropriate method and receiving location for your rolls.
ECLIPSE® LASER CLEANING
Target the residue within the cells.
The patented circular laser scan removes buildup without blasting media or liquid cleaning chemicals. An extraction system captures contamination removed during cleaning.
Our team reviews roll dimensions, residue and condition to confirm whether laser cleaning is a suitable option at the selected facility.
PRO-SERIES SODA BLAST CLEANING
Deep cleaning with baking soda.
Specially formulated anilox baking soda breaks up buildup in the cells. Controlled media delivery and vacuum collection help manage the cleaning process and removed residue.
ARCS evaluates the roll and application to determine the appropriate setup and cleaning approach.

Does the 24–48-hour turnaround include shipping?
No. That is the typical shop turnaround. Allow additional time for transportation to and from ARCS, and confirm the service window with the receiving facility before shipping.
Can you clean my roll the same day?
Same-day cleaning may be arranged on request. Contact us before sending or delivering the roll so we can review its condition, the cleaning requirements and current shop availability.
Which ARCS location should receive my rolls?
Start by contacting our team with your roll dimensions, residue type and schedule. We’ll confirm the appropriate shop and cleaning method, then provide receiving details.
Can I drop off and pick up my rolls?
Yes. Contact the receiving facility to arrange delivery and pickup times and discuss any handling requirements. Confirm cleaning availability before making the trip.
Will cleaning restore the original cell volume?
Removing buildup can recover usable cell volume, but cleaning cannot reverse wear or physical damage. The amount recovered depends on the residue and underlying roll condition.
What if we can’t send the rolls out?
ARCS also offers on-site cleaning services. Our technicians can evaluate cleaning at your plant, either on press or at a suitable off-press station.
